I Love Art in all it's forms and love finding scenes that just beg to be captured!
I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and have lived in places like in the heart of the hectic life of a big city and in the peaceful isolation of a mountain cabin. I have lived on a houseboat, in the middle of winter storms and beautiful moonlit summer nights. I know what it is like to feel like you are going to melt in the heat and humidity of the south, the dry heat of the west, and turn into a block of ice in the bone chilling cold of forty below zero in the north.
I have flown in aircraft such as in one of the Red Baron's bi-planes, a C130 parachute jump plane, a silent glider plane and all sorts of other aircraft. I especially love to fly but love traveling by any means; hiking, biking, car, train, or plane.
Art is just an extension of that adventurous spirit. I like to preserve memories, moments in time to share with others. To tell a story in pictures that can be preserved and passed on.
I have been drawing for more than 40 years now. Starting off with pencil and paper, which naturally evolved into charcoal on drawing paper. I added acrylic paint and pastels to my repertoire, incorporating color into my art. I also use my camera to capture light and details that I can use back in my studio to re-create a scene or character.
